Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 1.17 Update! The Incredibles’ nemesis Syndrome has arrived in the digital City! Next up, drumroll please as we announce the 100th hero to debut into Disney Heroes: the dynamic duo Kristoff & Sven from Frozen 2!
Overview

Syndrome
Syndrome is a mid-line “Control” character. Syndrome will be the April Sign-In Hero for Servers 1-17.
Skills
Zero-Point Energy
Syndrome stops the first few enemies in their tracks with his zero-point energy ray, stunning them. While stunned by this skill, enemies do not gain energy.
Probe Scan
Syndrome releases his scanning device, studying enemies in an area. The device then self-destructs, dealing damage to enemies around it.
Propelling Force
Syndrome uses his zero-point energy ray on the frontmost enemy, flinging them backward, dealing damage and stunning them when they land.
Energy Stun
Every few basic attacks, Syndrome stuns the enemy he attacks.
Self-Made Super
“Probe Scan” now studies all enemies. Enemies thrown backwards by “Propelling Force” now deal damage to nearby enemies when they land. If they land on stunned enemies, the enemies they land on lose energy.
Hero 100! Kristoff & Sven
Kristoff & Sven are a back-line “Support” duo. Kristoff & Sven will only be available in Diamond Crates on all servers.
Skills
Troll Mend
A troll appears and heals Kristoff and his allies, also increasing their armor.
Best Buddies
Kristoff summons his best friend, Sven, at the beginning of each wave. Sven has HP and deals damage per hit. While Sven is in battle, all allies gain skill power. When Sven is KO’d, he runs across the battlefield, dealing damage to enemies he hits.
Slippery Slide
Kristoff slides a block of ice across the battlefield, hitting the closest enemies in an area. Enemies hit are knocked back, frozen, and dealt damage over time while frozen.
Ice Harvest
Kristoff increases the duration of all allies’ freezes and slows.
Reindeer Rampage
Once per wave, after Sven is KO’d, Kristoff may use Best Buddies to summon Sven again. Every few times Sven basic attacks, damaged enemies are frozen.

Ralph
Heavy Handed
When Ralph uses “Big Duty”, Ralph is cleansed of all debuffs, he gains stacks of hardy, his disables last longer, and his attack speed is increased. “Big Duty” can activate a number of times more per wave but the amount of HP healed is reduced with each use.
Violet
Unseen Advantages
When Violet or an ally becomes invisible, Violet gains skill power. Violet retains a percent of the skill power from this buff each wave. While invisible, the cooldown for “Force Field” is reduced.
Eve
Droid Disable
The duration of disables applied by EVE and her allies last longer if their duration is less than a number of seconds. EVE uses “Ion Shock” at the start of each wave and the first use of “Ion Shock” stuns longer.
Tia Dalma
Dark Curse
Tia Dalma gains energy whenever an enemy is cursed. Charmed enemies gain basic damage.
Baymax
Protective Programming
Every time a shield is applied to Baymax or an ally, they receive stacks of hardy. Baymax can apply a maximum number of stacks of hardy every few seconds. When Baymax has a shield, his armor is increased.
Mickey Mouse
Hot Diggety Dog
“Tooned Up” also increases Mickey and his allies’ energy gain. “Apprentice Sorcery” also heals allies nearby to the original ally healed.
Cosmetic Collections
You can now see all of your Emojis, Avatars, Avatar Borders, and Costumes together in one place - the new Cosmetic Collections. Located within Collections, Cosmetic Collections allow you to complete Sets of cosmetics and gain rewards that permanently power up your heroes!
How do Cosmetic Collections work?
Cosmetics are categorized by type and further grouped into Sets, which can be completed for rewards.
Completing a Cosmetic Set will grant you a consumable reward such as hero shards or a Crate, plus Reward Level points. These level up points increase your Cosmetics Rewards level and give all of your heroes bonuses.
Collect Cosmetics to increase your Rewards Level
Each Cosmetics Rewards level powers up all of your heroes by 1% to a core hero stat (max HP, armor, reality, basic attack, or skill power), and additionally +5% every 20 levels to a powerful stat (attack speed, improved healing, or energy gain).
The new way to get Cosmetics
First of all, you get to keep all of the cosmetics that you’ve earned in the game so far (hero emojis, hero avatars, misc emojis, badge avatars, avatar borders, and costumes).
However, when the feature releases, the new way to obtain most cosmetics will be through Event Crates. This includes cosmetics that were previously unlocked by:
- Hero emojis unlocked through Friend Levels
- Hero avatars unlocked by upgrading heroes to purple rarity
- Badge avatars unlocked by getting heroes to their rarity
New Cosmetics will be even easier to obtain - just open a Cosmetic Crate! You can earn Cosmetic Crates as contest rewards or you can buy them in recurring sales. Any duplicate cosmetics you open will instead grant you Reward Level points that directly increase your Cosmetics Reward Level.
Other Improvements
- Creep Surge Improvements
- We’re adding Quick Fight to Creep Surge.
- New: Auto Select! This will choose a hero lineup for you with a power just enough to raid. It will use hired mercenaries if that’s efficient, but not always. So, if you want to always use the mercenary, add it to the lineup and then choose the auto select, and it’ll fill in the rest.
- We’re changing how we scale opponents in City Watch matchmaking. This is a first step in a larger effort to improve the experience in City Watch. To try this out, we’re only releasing this on servers 2 and 22. We want to monitor the data and player feedback to see if this is having the positive impact we want.
- New VIP Perks
- VIP 3: Unlimited raiding - no more raid tickets are needed. Any raid tickets you have in your inventory can be sold for gold. This does not include City Watch.
- VIP 6: Removed the cooldown when opening gold crates. You can now open all 5 at once!
- More gold!
- We are adding more gold to the Daily Quest rewards, and it will scale up as your team level increases.
- We are also looking at other areas to add more gold into the game with future updates
- Added a toggle in the guild settings so you can choose to allow Tactician rank access to officer chat
- New Guild Perks! Consumable Perks:
- These perks grant guild members an item at the time the perk is activated. The perks have a cooldown timer before they can be purchased again.
- Badge Booster Crate, Skill Point Consumable, Ultra SD Card, Port Reset, Trials Reset, Double Campaign Team XP Item
- These perks grant guild members an item at the time the perk is activated. The perks have a cooldown timer before they can be purchased again.
- New difficulty in Port and Trials: Sisyphean
- Added a timer to show when more keys will be available in Challenger Seasons
- Heroes who can dodge, can now dodge disables
- Added a confirmation window when someone taps to remove a guild from the war queue
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where Captain Hook could stop moving during combat
- Fixed a bug where Tigger could sometimes push enemies the wrong direction
- Fixed a bug where The Beast could get stuck in his Rage mode
- Fixed an issue where the Mama Bot could get stuck in walking mode when pulled with Scrooge’s “Coin Collection” skill
- Fixed a bug where Tron’s I/O Barrier would fail against invisible enemies
- Fixed an issue that caused players in the same challenger seasons league to receive a different number of keys. This was being caused by players promoting into the league during the week.

Heroes moving out of Crates and Shops will appear in the Elite Campaign unless otherwise noted. Heroes will appear in Shops after they refresh.
