Jim Hawkins

dialogue_jim_hawkins_01
Jim Hawkins is a front-line ”Support” hero. Jim Hawkins will be only available in Diamond Crates.

Skills

Helpful Morph
The player chooses an ally for Morph to fly to, removing all of their debuffs and causing them to deal more damage with their basic attacks and skills. Jim also inspires allies, granting himself and allies basic damage. While the battle is on auto, Morph flies to the frontmost ally.

Solar Surfer
Jim enters each wave on his solar surfer, granting himself and allies energy and making himself and allies Energized. Energized allies receive extra energy each time they perform a basic attack.

Stick To It
Jim steels his resolve, granting himself and the ally with Morph a shield. If Jim has Morph, he receives both shields.

Pie Smash
Morph blocks an attack that would have damaged the hero he is attached to. Morph then turns into a pie and smashes himself into the attacker, dealing damage and blinding them. Morph can perform this counter once every few seconds.

Energizing Connection
Morph also makes the ally he is attached to Energized. Allies Energized by Jim receive extra energy each time they perform a basic attack. Once per wave, when an ally or Jim reaches 1 HP, Morph intervenes by flying to the ally, preventing the damage, and healing them for a percent of their Max HP.

Friendships

  • Jim Hawkins and Pleakley
  • Jim Hawkins and Ian Lightfoot

John Silver

dialogue_john_silver
John Silver is a front-line ”Tank” character. John Silver will only be available from Arena and Coliseum Challenger season rewards with the new season starting on December 30.

Skills

Cybernetic Cannon
John Silver fires a massive laser shot with his arm cannon at the closest enemy, dealing damage to enemies in an area, knocking damaged enemies back, and then dealing damage to himself. Silver deals more damage to enemies and knocks them back further for every percent of HP he’s missing.

Quick Repair
Silver repairs some of his cyborg parts, healing himself and increasing his attack and movement speed.

Sharp Eye
Silver inspects all enemies with his cyborg eye, Studying them. The Study duration lasts longer for every percent of HP he’s missing.

Cyborg Study
John Silver receives less damage from Studied enemies for every percent of HP he’s missing. When Silver is missing a percent of his HP, he takes 100% less damage from Studied enemies.

Masterful Mutineer
When John Silver is below a percent of his max HP, “Cybernetic Cannon” also stuns enemies. Once per wave, when Silver reaches a percent of his max HP, he gains a shield.

Friendships

  • Silver and Jim Hawkins
  • Silver and Olaf

New Red Skills!

The Genie
Wish Fulfillment
While allies have x or more heal over time effects on them at once, they are also Energized. Allies Energized by Genie gain extra energy each time they basic attack. Once per wave, when an ally reaches a percent of their Max HP, Genie heals them. Genie can use this once per ally.

Darkwing Duck
The Terror
When the Invisibility from “Shadow Stalker” ends, Darkwing Duck gains Reflect. Heroes with Reflect prevent 100% of damage they would take and instead return that damage back at the enemy who dealt the damage. Reflected damage cannot be dodged. Darkwing Duck heals when he reflects damage with Reflect.

Merlin
Hang it All!
Each wave, the frontmost enemy begins battle with stacks of Fatigue. Fatigue blocks 1 buff from being applied and then is removed. When an enemy loses a stack of Fatigue they are dealt damage.

Peter Pan
Happy Thoughts
Tinkerbell now targets the enemy with the most stacks of Hardy with “Blinding Light” and steals stacks of Hardy, giving them to Peter. If Tinkerbell steals any stacks of Hardy with “Blinding Light”, the cooldown is reduced.

Jafar
Patience
Jafar is immune to Stuns while channeling “Snake Charmer”. Jafar gains energy per second per Charmed enemy.

Timon & Pumbaa
No Worries
Timon & Pumbaa are untargetable while performing “Bug Run.” When a buff is stolen or removed from Timon & Pumbaa or an ally before the duration reaches 0 seconds, they are granted “Hakuna Matata” time per buff removed. When Timon & Pumbaa or an ally have a heal over time effect on them, their armor is increased.

New Servers!

  • We will be opening two new Servers - Server 23 and Server 24. Both servers will start with all the heroes available and Red +4 as the max rarity!
  • On 24 we will also be releasing a new offer called the Battle Mode Booster
    • This is a way for new players to be able to access the most exciting elder game features easily with a great roster of heroes.
    • This gives guilds access to new players who are ready to be assets to the community.
    • The Battle Mode Booster will set the player’s team level to 110, unlock, promote, and level up skills for a set of heroes to Orange +4.
    • The offer will only be available for players who are still below Team Level 75 and is currently limited to 24. This offer will NOT be available on Servers 1-22.
    • We hope that this will continue to foster a robust community and we look forward to seeing more Heroes take on the Virus!

Invasion Improvements

  • Auto Quick Fight
    • This new feature we’re adding to Invasion allows you to Quick Fight your way through multiple Breakers with one tap of a button!
    • Auto Quick Fight unlocks after you defeat your first Breaker Quest Wave
    • During an Auto Quick Fight your Heroes will keep fighting until you lose a fight, run out of Invasion Stamina, or defeat an entire Breaker Quest Wave
    • Once the Auto Quick Fight finishes you’ll be able to claim the rewards from your Victories
    • If your Auto Quick Fight ends in a Defeat you’ll still be able to decide if you want to retry that fight
  • Improvements to Breaker Quest Waves
    • We’ve added Invasion Points as a bonus reward for completing Breaker Quest Waves
    • We’ve reduced the number of fights in Breaker Quest Waves to 10 (from 20)
    • Due to the reduced size of Breaker Quest Waves we’ve decreased the amount of Hero Power-Ups and Breakers rewarded per wave to 3 (from 5)
    • With these improvements Breaker Quest Waves now have a more significant impact on your Invasion Rewards while offering you more Hero Power-Ups and Breakers overall

Other Improvements

  • The number of Red Skill Chips awarded in Epic City Watch will now scale up based on a player’s Team Level!
  • New Guild Perks
    • New levels to Contest Perks: Surge Bonus Raid, Skill Point Storage, and Invasion Breakers
    • New Consumable Perk: Guild Crates. This perk has no cooldown time!
  • When a player applies a power-up to a friendship, it will allow them to quick fight in the friend campaign, even if they lost their last battle there. This includes both mission power-ups and the friend power-up consumable.
  • The following changes (previously only available on Servers 21-22) are now available on all servers:
    • The limits to buying Stamina and Gold for diamonds have been removed.
    • New VIP Perks to skip spending skill points for low level skills.
      • Starting at VIP5, upgrading skills will not require skill points for non-red skills below level 30
      • This scales up every 2 VIP levels by 5, so at VIP7 upgrading skills below level 35, etc.
      • The skill upgrades will still cost gold
  • We’ve added a new in-game survey tool that will let us ask you for feedback directly in the game!
  • Added a “Claim All” button to the medals screen.
  • Added a button on some game information pages to allow players to redo tutorials for those features.
  • Cosmetic Collections for the Sign-In Hero and Event Exclusive heroes will not be available immediately. This is to prevent players from completing collections to unlock these exclusive heroes. Once the heroes move out of these categories, the collections will be available.
    • Players who have already unlocked some cosmetics for the current Sign-In and Event Exclusive heroes will still be able to use the cosmetics, but the collections will be hidden.
  • Added information about campaign difficulty and disk progression to the friends tab.

Bug Fixes

  • Hero Fixes
    • Huey, Dewey and Louie’s traps were invisible but still being trigger after they were KO’d
    • Queen of Heart’s “Royal Ride” disk could do no True Damage with “Off With Their Head!” if the opponent was not moved back during the shuffle. Now the disk deals a range of damage, depending on how far back they are shuffled.
    • Fixed an issue where Powerline was not being slowed by Kim’s red skill and “Sitch Finder” disk when studied
    • Fixed an issue where Powerline could be damaged or KO’d before entering combat
    • Fixed an issue where The Genie’s purple skill buff icons were not being displayed on summoned allies
  • Fixed an issue where guild rankings were incorrect
  • Adjusted the Friend Power-Ups information to display the correct team power
  • There was an error message that would appear when players tried to claim the rewards for a weekly challenge that they had previously completed. The rewards screen was showing the tokens and the sticker. The sticker is only awarded the first time the challenge is completed. After that, repeat challenges only award tokens.
  • Fixed an issue where players would incorrectly see the next VIP level screen without actually being able to reach that VIP level.

Is it just me, or does Silver being stronger depending on how much HP he’s missing feel a bit counterproductive to being a tank? (Though I suppose that also means that he can gain the buffs more safely than units with less bulk…)
