Improvements

Chat Moderation Changes

Beginning with the 5.2 update, we’ll be switching over to a different moderation system that eliminates the need for the “Report Player” feature in the game. While this feature has been useful and served us up until now, it has also been the source of countless false reports (i.e., reported player but no chat infractions), consuming hours of valuable time for our support team.

Our new automated system is reliable and accurate for issuing chat silences. We’ll also be able to issue permanent and temporary bans this way too, so that more serious offenders are addressed faster than in the old system. There will still be a team of agents reviewing moderation actions to make sure things are working the way they should.

Once the update is live, you’ll no longer be able to see the option to report someone. You can, of course, still block anyone that you feel you need to and submit a support ticket to report inappropriate behavior yourself.

Memory Disk Snapshotting and Hot Swapping

We’re very excited to be releasing this long awaited and much requested feature with this update! We hope you love it and look forward to hearing your feedback on it!

All of your Saved Lineups will now remember the Memory Disk option that is equipped when creating that lineup. This includes the Saved Lineups that you manually create as well as the last lineup you used in any game mode like Arena, Campaign, The Port, etc.

Due to technical limitations, your old Saved Lineups will default to whatever Memory Disk you currently have equipped for that Hero. Note that existing defensive lineups shouldn’t be affected by this change.

When selecting your Heroes to go into battle you now have the ability to Press+Hold on Hero Portraits. This will allow you to view information about that Hero and Hot Swap Memory Disks as needed without navigating to the Heroes menu!

Heroes in Saved Lineups will now automatically have their Memory Disks swapped when you enter a Game Mode or manually select a Saved Lineup that has different Memory Disks from what you currently have equipped. When this happens a new pop-up and blinking effect will appear for all affected Heroes.

Note that manually Hot Swapping a single Memory Disk using the Press+Hold action will not initiate the blinking effect and will also remove an existing one.

Update to Wish Crate Ui

When selecting a Wish Crate item from the Items menu, you will now be directed to the Wish Crate window to make your selection.

  • Coliseum, City Watch, and Arena Crate Update

These crates needed a refresh, so we updated the rewarded amounts of most of the items that can be acquired. Adjusted values include:

  • 2x more Hero Chips
  • 2x more Badge Tokens
  • 2x more Gold
  • 10x more Ultra XP Drinks
  • 2x more Mod Upgrades
  • All other items - no change. Changes will take effect after the update.

Please note that we’re continuing to implement fixes for hero skills, and app performance. If you know of any in-game bugs, please submit a support ticket.

This is cool and all, but this is what, the 9th Muppets character? Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool and all (sorry that some people are being overly-negative, they shouldn’t)…but what the majority of players want are DisneyTVA characters from shows like Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, Star vs. The Forces of Evil, Amphibia, The Owl House, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur etc.

Wrong pick!! That’s the last Muppets characters are already have. Now you can’t help it like Toy Story

Sweetums is an interesting choice and I’m excited to try him out… Also SUPER EXCITED to see Dr. Facilier, Hercules, Miss Piggy and Ursula getting a refresh!!!

I’m actually glad we’re getting Sweetums in the game. He’s one of my favorite Muppets.

W O W! This is one of the best patch notes
E V E R! This is awesome! Sweetums is cool and Patch Season 9 seems also cool with the refreshes that we were waiting for years! Also, the fixed bugs is a relief for all of us and the nèw functions are super! The adjustment for the Crates is formidable, and the new positions and updates in the Èlite Campaign are incredibly fantastic!

This is the last time we get another character from The Muppets like that’s enough, it should have been someone else from another franchise that has less characters

I know but I can always pray!

I love The Muppets!

No we don’t because there’s a lot of them now

It was supposed to add Brother Bear characters. But it chooses one of the Muppets character instead. I still don’t think it was good update

@Samm Interesting and thanks for the Patch Notes Samm :-).

If you don’t mind me asking, is the Guild Perks intended to come in the 5.3 update since it isn’t coming now in the 5.2 update?

No worries though, the Disk Swap feature is definitely good and help the Patch Notes a lot :-).
Still, figured I hear if okey.

Same here because they gotta stop adding new characters from franchises that have a lot of characters in the game
