Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Update 1.5.2
Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 1.5.2 Update! This is a smaller update with the following new features:
- Ursula surfaces from Disney’s The Little Mermaid
- 6th Stars for Heroes
- Challenge Tokens and Challenge Shop
Ursula
“I’m not asking much. Just a token really, a trifle. You’ll never even miss it.”
Ursula is a mid-line control character! Ursula’s hero chips will be available in the War Shop on servers 1-8.
Skills
Poor, Unfortunate Souls
Ursula applies “Hexed” to all enemies and deals them Damage. If enemies attempt to use their active skill while under the effect of “Hexed,” they will be stunned.
On The Hook
Ursula uses her magic shell to drain energy from the enemy with the most energy.
Ruler of All the Ocean
Ursula whips nearby enemies with her tentacle, dealing them damage and knocking back the closest enemy.
Something For Nothing
Enemies receive 0 energy for KO’ing one of Ursula’s teammates.
6th Star
We’re seeing a good number of players on older servers who have 5-star heroes and also have extra hero chips. So for this update, we’re adding the ability to evolve heroes up to 6 stars.
- This ability will be tied to the Team Level of your server
- You server’s Team Level cap must be 80 or higher to unlock 6th star
- Evolving to 6 stars will cost 200 hero chips and 750k gold
- Evolving to 6 stars will increase the HP, Basic Damage and Skill Power of your hero
Challenge Shop
The Challenges feature has been pretty well received overall. But two of the biggest pieces of feedback we’ve heard from the community are:
- You prefer challenges that don’t require replaying existing content
- You want more than just stickers for completing challenges
To address the first point, we’re looking at ways going forward to keep challenge design interesting without making them too hard or too confusing. To the second point, we’ve added Challenge Tokens as a new reward for completing challenges:
- Starter and Weekly Challenges will reward 250 Challenge Tokens for completion
- Pick ’Em and Book Challenge will reward 250/500/750 Challenge Tokens depending on their cost
- Completing the Starter Book or a paid book will award another 500 Challenge Tokens
- Challenge Tokens can be spent in the new Challenge Shop
- The shop sells a wide variety of hero chips that have been available on your server for awhile
- Each week this shop will offer hero chips from six heroes chosen partially at random and partially based on which chips you need
