Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Update 1.6
Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 1.6 Update! This release features a number of smaller updates listed below. We also have a limited release of the Mods feature on Server 1, which you can read about here.
Overview
- Costumes: New outfits for your heroes, starting with Elastigirl
- Badge Bazaar: New shop where you can buy badges with tokens
- Creep Surge Raids: Raid in Surge several times per day… if your power is high enough!
- Events Update: New look for the Events UI
Hero Balance and Combat Changes
Maui
- We made some changes to make Maui’s ability to protect his teammates more versatile.
- “Hooked” now reduces the amount of Fantastic Damage taken by allies affected by his Courage, in addition to Normal Damage
- “Hooked” damage reduction has been upped slightly
Fix-It Felix, Jr.
- Fix-It Felix, Jr. is good at keeping himself in the fight, but he could do a little bit more to support his allies. His increased Skill Power will help him heal allies and boost the strength of their skills!
- Fix-It Felix, Jr. now has 50% more base Skill Power
- “Power of Positivity” grants significantly more Skill Power to allies
Captain Jack Sparrow
- These changes should help Jack stay in the fight longer and get more damage done.
- Captain Jack Sparrow now has 20% more base HP
- “Avast” now does more damage per shot
Scar
- Scar excels at getting in the last blow, but these changes should make his damage output more fearsome throughout the battle.
- Scar now has increased basic attack speed
- Scar now does 15% more base Basic Damage
Costumes
- The hero screen has a new button!
- This button will appear on heroes who have alternate costumes
- For 1.6, our first new costume is for Elastigirl
- Costumes are unlocked by collecting Costume Threads
- Keep an eye out for ways to earn Costume Threads for Elastigirl soon!
Badge Bazaar
- This is a new shop where you can buy badges with tokens
- When running Events and Contests where badges are featured, it’s hard to know what badges a player wants, so we’d rather let you choose with your tokens
Creep Surge Raiding
- As with City Watch, we wanted to find ways to keep the Creep Surge fun while also managing the amount of time required to play it each day
- As more heroes arrive in game, the number of battles per person per day slowly “creeps” up
- So for 1.6, we’ve added a fun way to raid:
- If your team’s power is 10% higher than the defending lineup, you can raid it (instant win)
- The catch is that you can only do this a few times a day:
- At first, you may only raid a Creep Surge fight once per day
- At VIP 5 and 8, you get an additional raid
- You can also earn an additional raid from Guild Perks
Events UI Update
- As our game has grown and our events have expanded, we decided now was a good time to refresh the Events UI
- The new layout features a full screen with a list and a highlight panel
- We’ve also added occasional popups on the main screen to remind you of events currently running

Server 1 Update
- Team Level Cap increased from 95 to 100
- Heroes can now be promoted to Orange +2 rank
- Chapter 14: “Top Line” is now available
- Elite Campaign features: Hades, Chief Bogo, Vanellope, Maleficent and Finnick

- The Genie will be available in the VIP Crate (he also remains in the Elite Campaign)
- Scar will be available in the Arena Shop
- Jack-Jack will be available in the Chapter 5 & 6 Elite Campaigns
- Hades will be available in the Chapter 14 Elite Campaign

- Ralph will be available as the December sign-in reward
- Mickey Mouse will be available in the Creep Surge Shop
- Emperor Zurg will be available in the Chapter 10, 11 & 12 Elite Campaigns

- Elite Campaign features: EVE, Felix, Ralph, Vanellope and Yax

- New Hero: Tia Dalma will be available as the December sign-in reward

Server 15
No changes
Other Improvements
- City Watch Region 5 is now slightly easier
- Heist Ticket cost reduced from 500 to 250 City Watch Tokens
- Team Trials have new difficulty levels on Server 1-9
- Port has new difficulty level(s) on Server 1
- Challenge Books now reward 2000 Challenge Tokens instead of 500
- Challenge Shop can now be refreshed for Challenge Tokens
- Memory Shop now sells 5 memories per slot instead of 1
- We changed how crates work on the back end to make them more robust
- Normally, you won’t see any difference when opening them
- But if your connection is poor, you may experience a delay
- The “Items → Misc” list of items has been reorganized for better usability
Bug Fixes
- Disney Heroes: Battle Mode now offers better support to phones with “notches” like iPhone X and Google Pixel 3
- Moana’s “Love and Protection” skill no longer triggers when she is offscreen
- Fixed an issue where Moana could disappear from battle
- Red dot on War for during Sabotage now disappears once you’ve completed your daily War quest
- Red dot for the Memory Shop is now only shown on the Friends tab for the hero who needs a memory that’s currently available in shop
- Guild officers chat now has “translate” button
- Restarting a Challenge now requires a confirmation
- Fixed a bug that was causing the Guild Wall to be deleted.
